- 1. Make sure to place bag in microwave with the backside of the bag facing up. This allows
the vent holes to function properly
- 2. Always put on a microwave safe plate when cooking. That way it is easy to take the very hot
bag out of the microwave
- 3. Push on the potatoes before opening the bag. If the potatoes still seem a little firm let them sit
for five more minutes before opening the bag. The heat trapped in the bag will continue to cook the potatoes
- 4. Potatoes will stay hot for up to a half hour if the bag is not opened in any way. So don't worry if you
need to cook more than one bag. The first won't get cold waiting for the second to finish.

- INGREDIENTS
- • 2 Packages of Easy-Steamer Microwaveable Potatoes (any variety)
- • 3/4 cup chopped green onions
- • 3/4 cup chopped celery
- • 3/4 cup fat-free sour cream
- • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
- • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- DIRECTIONS
- 1. Place bag of Easy-Steamer potatoes into the microwave and cook for 8-9 minutes each. Remove and let stand until cool enough to handle or refrigerate overnight. Cut open bag and cube potatoes. You may peel them if you prefer.
- 2. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes, onions and celery. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, vinegar, salt, pepper and celery seed. Pour over potato mixture; toss to coat. Sprinkle with blue cheese. Cover and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
